The NANO-COM Color Coding System

Today there are many barcode systems used on the market. Most of them are binary (black and white) based and have a reached high degree of perfection. But non of these codes can meet the requirements for storing sufficient amount of data on as little space as possible. With the development of this new colored coding system, this has become possible. The code uses colors to encode arbitrary information. This enhances practicability and thus enables the code to significantly carry more data. Portable Data Base

All goods and products require descriptive information which is encoded during the production process and carried with the item. Ideally it should be machine readable because this feature enables automatic recognition and further processing. All commonly used item identification is limited to a unique number, no matter whether this is done by barcode, RFID, etc. This does not allow enough information to be carried or even continuously being added during the process of item manufacturing or delivery. Our new color coding system makes it possible to include and even add necessary or desired information directly into the code thus it can accomodate any item. One of the many advantages is the fact that any language character is expressed as color information. There is no more need for geomtrical character recognition which is mostly faulty and incomplete. Foreign language characters are usually impossible to read depending on shape and size. However, our coding system eliminates all these problems and creates a completely new and machine readable color alphabet.
